As an instructional designer in an award-winning L&D team, I have had the unique opportunity to be the sole designer for a company that Paylocity acquired in 2021, which is now their international payroll division. I collaborate with their team to identify gaps in training and partner with leaders and work to find solutions for complex issues that arise within the international payroll space.

With Concentrix being a global company, I worked closely with stakeholders and translators from all over the world to create training for software, compliance, soft skills, and also extensive sales content much of which was translated into multiple languages. These collaborations really strengthened my ability to create training from an inclusive and diverse linguistic and cultural lens.

I was hired at Dish after working in public education and a non-profit, and here I had the chance to apply the skills I learned while getting my master's degree. I had incredible mentors in the graphic design space and I created audio, video, eLearnings, ILTs, animated digital training, and other media such as newsletters. I wrote scripts for the C-Suite and worked with them when recording their training communications.

I worked as a band instructor for this non-profit educational organization that serves hundreds of students with music instruction, much of it free through grant programs. I also coordinated the curriculum, instructors, rental instruments (and their repairs) and performances for dozens of classes. I remained an executive board member and volunteered with them until 2022.
